A Rucksack complete with name label

 

Ÿ         A waterproof Rucksack Liner/fertilizer bag

Ÿ         Sleeping Bag - compact type

Ÿ         Sheet Lining

Ÿ         Karrimat in waterproof bag

 

Ÿ         Survival Bag - optional but will be helpful as some older scouts will have opportunity to camp survival style!

Ÿ         1 plate, knife, fork, spoon and mug (non-breakable)

Ÿ          Pencil, Pen and Notebook

Ÿ         Torch and spare Batteries

Ÿ         Insect Repellent

Ÿ         Spare boot socks, underwear and handkerchiefs

Ÿ         Shorts

Ÿ         Wool gloves

Ÿ         Hat

Ÿ         Camera and film (optional)

Ÿ         2 sets of activity clothes (activity trousers/combats, t-shirts/activity shirts (no unsuitable designs please), jumpers/sweatshirts)

Ÿ         Walking boots

Ÿ         Light weight jacket

Ÿ         Small first aid kit

Ÿ         Waterproofs (jacket and trousers)

Ÿ         Water bottle

Ÿ         Wash Kit and Towel

Ÿ         2 Dustbin bags

Ÿ         2 -3 T-Towels

Ÿ         Gardening Gloves

Ÿ         Small Pillow

Ÿ         Suncream

Ÿ         Wellington boots (in separate bag)

 

All the above items to be packed tightly into one rucksack, except wellies.

Ÿ               Fizzy Drinks

Ÿ               Food including sweets

 

3.  You may bring a book and one quiet game wih you to camp and no more than £1.00 to spend in camp tuck shop.

 

 

 

 

 

2nd Wisbech Summer Camp

 

Camp Visits - (to all parents, relatives and friends), we would appreciate it if you do not visit us at camp unless you have arranged to do so with the section leader.

 

Uniform - full uniform should be worn when travelling to and from camp.

 

Scout uniform is as follows

 

Scout Shirt

Black Trousers or Scout Trousers (Not jeans or jogging bottoms)

Scout Belt

Group scarf and leather scout woggle

Black shoes/boots

Navy blue scout jumper

 

No Jewellery (inc. earrings) are to be worn, except a wrist watch

 

You may bring scout ‘baseball’ caps to camp (named inside) but they must not be worn with uniform.

 

All medication to be handed to the section leader or camp First Aider, with full details and in original packaging.

 

When at camp all Scouts are expected to be on their best behaviour, follow the camp rules and set a good example to new members as well as having fun!!!!
